Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel in Ronda, a charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the historic district. Retaining much of its original charm, this 18th-century building offers a truly authentic Spanish setting for a holiday in rural Andalusia. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff and taken aback by the beautiful historical style of the hotel, complete with intricate details and classical paintings adorning the walls. the atmosphere felt like staying in a sophisticated old home rather than a typical hotel. During our stay, we were delighted to discover the intimate cinema room, fitted with red velvet seats exuding a sense of nostalgia from the city's former cinema. the interior courtyard with a trickling fountain provided a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Ronda's ancient monuments. Our room, although one of the smaller ones, boasted comforts such as air conditioning, free WiFi, and a well-stocked minibar. the attentive housekeeping ensured that our accommodation was immaculate throughout our visit, a testament to the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. the charming library corner also provided a quiet space to relax and plan our daily adventures in the picturesque surroundings.
